1. Who is the controller
GeoComms is the data controller for personal data processed via the GeoComms console.
2. What we collect
- Account data — name, business name, email, role.
- Brand & audit inputs — domains you submit and the signals our pipeline derives from them.
- Console activity — audits run, chat messages, saved snippets.
- Technical data — minimal logs for security and reliability.
3. How we use it
To operate the console, generate briefings, secure your account, improve the Service, and contact you about your account. We do not sell personal data.
4. Legal bases
Performance of contract (delivering the Service), legitimate interests (security, product improvement), and consent (where required, e.g. marketing).
5. Sub-processors
We use carefully selected providers for hosting, authentication, email, crawling, search-data and LLM inference. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement and only processes data on our instructions.
6. Retention
Chat messages auto-reset daily by design. Snippets, audits and account data are retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards unless you request earlier deletion.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can request access, correction, deletion, portability or restriction of your data, and object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, please write to us via our contact form.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorised personnel under confidentiality obligations.
9. International transfers
Some sub-processors are located outside the UK/EU. Where required we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
10. Changes
We will post updates here and, for material changes, notify you in-product.
